Emporium-Collection Booking Policy
Introduction
Welcome to Emporium-Collection, where we offer two distinct booking arrangements to ensure your convenience and satisfaction: Direct Payment at the Hotel and Payment to Emporium-Collection. Please read the following policy carefully to understand how each payment method works, the terms of your accommodation contract, and important information regarding your booking.
1. Direct Payment at the Hotel
For participating hotels where the accommodation contract is directly between you and the hotel:
Accommodation Contract:
When you book through Emporium-Collection, the accommodation contract is established between you and the selected hotel.
You will pay the confirmed price directly to the hotel upon arrival.
All claims and obligations arising from the accommodation contract exist solely between you and the hotel. Emporium-Collection acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to this contract.
Booking Process:
Personal Details: After selecting your room, you will need to provide your personal and credit card details to guarantee your booking.
Payment: The charges will be made by the hotel upon your arrival.
Confirmation: By clicking the “Confirm Registration. Charged upon arrival” button, you make a binding offer to book the selected room. Your booking offer will be forwarded to the hotel, and the hotel's confirmation will be sent to you via Emporium-Collection. Upon receiving this confirmation, your booking becomes binding.
Cancellation Policy:
Legal Right: You do not have a statutory right of withdrawal from a booking as per Sec. 312 g para 2 no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
Hotel Policies: Any voluntary cancellation or change policies offered by the hotel will be displayed during the booking process. Changes or cancellations must be handled through Emporium-Collection’s system to be effective.
2. Payment to Emporium-Collection
For certain bookings where the accommodation contract is between you and Emporium-Collection:
Accommodation Contract:
The accommodation contract is established directly between you and Emporium-Collection.
You will pay the confirmed price to Emporium-Collection at the time of booking.
Emporium-Collection is responsible for handling the payment and any related claims and obligations.
Booking Process:
Personal Details: After selecting your room, you will need to provide your personal and credit card details for payment processing.
Payment: Charges will be made immediately by Emporium-Collection upon booking.
Confirmation: By clicking the “Confirm and Pay Now” button, you make a binding offer to book and pay for the selected room. Emporium-Collection will confirm your booking and payment, forming a binding contract between you and Emporium-Collection.
Cancellation Policy:
Legal Right: You do not have a statutory right of withdrawal from a booking as per Sec. 312 g para 2 no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
Policy Details: Any applicable cancellation or change policies will be displayed during the booking process. Changes or cancellations must be handled through Emporium-Collection’s system.
General Terms for All Bookings
Rates and Promotions:
All rates provided via the Emporium-Collection reservation system are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other offers or promotions unless explicitly stated.
Storing and Accessibility of the Contract:
Emporium-Collection will store your booking information and the terms and conditions applicable to the booking (collectively referred to as the "contract").
You can access your booking information after the booking via your Emporium-Collection account.

Non-Transferability:
Bookings are not transferable to any other person and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Insurance Disclaimer:
Please note that the entity taking the payment is responsible for any related insurance claims. For Direct Payment at the Hotel, the hotel is responsible. For Payment to Emporium-Collection, Emporium-Collection is responsible.
